Based on the idea of Kahlua celebrating their 50th anniversary, this project was a bag, label, and box design. I decided to highlight an important part of the company’s vibrant history. In the 1960s, Kahlúa’s Mexico based brand was run by an all women team affectionately names the “Kahlúa Ladies”.

I wanted to reference their attention to detail and hard work while showcasing the companies heritage in Mexico. Mexican embroidery and lace inspired this project and juxtaposes the two ideas of heritage and great craftsmanship.
